In our first meeting back after Christmas we made Christingles and thought about their meaning- Jesus is the Light of the World.
Once we’d all finished we stood in a circle and lit the Christingles whilst we said a prayer.
Can you remember what each part of the Christingles represents?
Our Loaves and Fishes group were fantastic on Sunday 6th October as they led the family Harvest service at Holy Trinity Church, Bolton-le-Sands.
They spoke clearly and confidently whilst reading their poems, prayers and Bible readings
Have a look at the group as they relax after their hard work.
Look as well at all the food the children at school and the local community have collected for the Morecambe Food Bank
Please help local people in crisis by buying items from the list below. Many of these items are urgently needed for ‘Start up boxes’.
Sponge Pudding (tinned)
Cup a Soup
Fruit Juice (UHT)
Please bring your items to the Harvest Family Service at The Holy Trinity on Sunday 6th October.
Thank you for your support!
Our Loaves and Fishes group started on Tuesday afternoon at The Church of The Holy Trinity.
We welcomed some new members to our club and were delighted to see our regular members too.
We are looking forward to sharing our learning with the community at the harvest family service on Sunday 6th October, at 10.30am in church.
Please encourage your child to bring tins and non-perishable foods to the Harvest service. These gifts will be donated to the Morecambe food bank.
